Rio Grande Gorge + Vivac Winery
From The Inn of the Five Graces, you will journey by luxury SUV into the belly of the Rio Grande Gorge, where you will start your day with an adrenaline rushed water voyage. There you’ll meet with the New Mexico River Adventures team who will prepare you for your whitewater river journey. The Racecourse is a class 2-3 rapid (4 during high water levels) section of the Rio Grande for a thrilling ride that will suit both first time rafters or whitewater enthusiasts.

This route goes right through the highest walled parts of the canyon, where you will be surrounded by stunning Quartzite and basalt lava cliffsides, and local willow, Apache plume and cane cholla cactus dotting the peachy and orangey covered rock landscape. With possible wildlife sightings including bighorn sheep, beaver or river otters.
After you’re grinning from ear to ear from your rafting adventure you will journey further down river to Vivác Winery where we will indulge in our Inspired Gourmet Picnic prepared with Chef Mike Dooley. His delightful spread, ready to nourish you after working up an appetite is perfectly paired with your Vivác tasting, ready to toast to your paddle fun adventure together!
